Description
Pencils: Kenneth Rocafort (dev id? does he have one?)
Inks: James Goodwin
Flats: Arguello Fernando
Colors: Tanner Wiley
Personal notes:
- As is my custom, I have applied an over all filter to the entire image. On sequentials, I tend to do this with color on sequential pages as the mood is intended to change as the story moves along.
- SFX are in as much as I will do. Too many color artists over-do the glow effects and a few do nothing but feathered brushes, which is basically fancy photoshop airbrushing. It doesn't look good when you do it that way.
- Diana's rope is hand painted for the glow. No automation. It looks too perfect that way; hand painting it gives it more of an energetic feel imho. I still feel like it's too thick in come places. But this is where I would rely on an editor to advise me. Love editors.
- The flats that I used for this were LIGHT flats, not dark flats unfortunately (no offense Arguello - I just prefer to model from all dark base colors). This results in me going too dark sometimes on my modeling. I have a brightness and contrast filter over those particular sections to help even them out and bring them back from being too dark.
- The sky background is 100% painted.
- Very happy with the hand painted texturing. No photographic textures were used.
Feel free to make comments and criticisms. More eyes are always good.
